Today was a VERY big day! For the past six months, Larry's favorite way to travel was rolling. He would get up on his hands and knees, scoot forward one time and then he would roll! I guess he figured that was the fastest way to get somewhere. I blamed it on his >95th percentile head. A neighbor told me that there were many definitions of crawling and that because he was rolling with a purpose--it was considered meeting the milestone. I think she was just trying to make me feel better, although I really wasn't that concerned. He's been pulling himself up and moving around the furniture for awhile now. Grandma Trotter had me convinced that he would skip crawling altogether and go straight to walking!
Today, I built a very tall tower of blocks to lure Larry across the room. Instead of rolling....he CRAWLED! I got the second time on camera, but of course I cannot figure out how to upload it. Regardless, we are very proud of our little man!
Yeah for Larry! It took Ella forever too! Can't wait to see the pictures.
ReplyDeleteGO LARRY! Note to Mama: maybe chicken wings or some cheese sticks would be a better lure for crawling. It worked for Sawyer!
