It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Some outtakes from the Christmas card photo shoot

Trying to keep Cody from kissing him
There were lots of licks in the face
So many that they knocked him over...

Santa stopped by for a visit
Picking out our tree
So many to choose from...

The New Saturday Night

We planned to bake three pies tonight. However, we quickly learned that homemade pie crust takes awhile!

A classic Apple Pie...it was worth the wait!

Naptime Surprise!

Daddy surprised Larry with an "All Star Sports Climber" today. Larry didn't know what to think we he awoke from his nap and saw this set up in the office. He literally went down the slide 50 times in a row--he was so thrilled!

He finally took a break from the slide to shoot some hoops

Happy Halloween!

Larry rode in his "fire engine" to our annual neighborhood potluck.

Playing with daddy in the neighbor's back yard
A rare photo of the Chief in his hat. He wasn't a fan. We had to hold it on his head in the next few pictures while he was distracted by something else!
We decided to wait until next year to take Larry trick-or-treating. Instead, he helped me pass out candy. He loved seeing all the kids come to the door!
Waiting for our next customers
He did his own trick-or-treating out of our candy bowl
And then put it all back
Jon and I attended a costume party on Saturday night. We went as Dog and Beth the Bounty Hunters

Happy Halloween!

The Snuggle Show Must Go On

Due to an unforeseen potty break this evening, the role of Copper the Snuggle Buddy was played by his understudy, Shadow. While Shadow played a convincing role...

...critics say the original cast has much better on-camera chemistry.

Farm Day

We attended Farm Day in Falls Church on Saturday. This annual event offers lots of children's activities, most of which Larry will enjoy more next year. We did visit with the horses pulling the hayride.

And then Larry showed Daddy his new skills at the playground. Climbing the steps...
Bouncing on the bridge...
And walking across by himself...
