Spring Break 2011

Larry was on Spring Break this week from preschool and also his baseball class. We were lucky enough to take a spontaneous trip to the beach with our friends Page and Patrick.  We visited Bethany Beach from Wednesday to Friday. We really lucked out and enjoyed beautiful weather! Our second night there, Larry learned how to crawl out of his pack n play. After twenty attempts by me to put him to bed, Page stepped in and layed him down every time he tried to get up. He didn't know what to think of that?!? So, before too long he gave up and went to sleep. However, at 6:30am, I was greeted by his smiling face in my face. :)

Good Friday

After finishing the book, I Love You Through and Through...

It was the most precious thing to say, especially on Good Friday.

National Aquarium-D.C. Visit

Today, we took a last minute trip to the National Aquarium in D.C. Larry received money from his Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins for tickets to the aquarium for his birthday. Before we take Larry to the "big time" in Baltimore, we thought we would check out the smaller version in D.C.

Well, it doesn't compare in the least to the Baltimore location. But, it still was a fun little outing for a Saturday morning. Here's a few pictures...

Colorado

We had a wonderful visit to Colorado with all of Jon's family

Jon and I after our afternoon skiing together. He was very patient with me, for the most part. Jon likes to ski incredibly fast and as Bobbi said, I was "born to be mild."

December 24th
